Dr Teresa Joyce is a HCPC registered Occupational Therapist working in North West London. She supports children and young people to overcome challenges in participation at school, work, home and in leisure activities. She achieves this through comprehensive assessment of daily activity, as well as sensory, motor and cognitive skills. This is followed by intervention aimed at building up skills, adapting tasks and environments, and engaging in advocacy when needed. She works in a person-centred and goal orientated way to ensure meaningful and measurable outcomes. Teresa works with all children and young people aged 2-25 years at their homes and schools, and has specialist skills working with those with neurodiversity (Autism, Developmental Coordination Disorder/ Dyspraxia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Dyslexia). Alongside her clinical practice Teresa is an Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy, her work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals, and she has appeared as an expert Occupational Therapist on the BBC.
