Bio:

When I meet with families, my aim is to ease them into feeling able to tell me their stories about what has brought them to seek help.

I am a Senior Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist in the NHS, and in private practice (registered with the Association of Child Psychotherapists). I also dedicate time to teaching, and personally supervising child psychotherapy trainees at the Tavistock Centre and at the British Psychotherapy Foundation.

I have developed a special interest in supporting adolescents with a myriad of symptoms (including neurodiversity) and their families, an area which I have published several papers about in the Journal of Child Psychotherapy. I am passionate about promoting understanding of young peoples' unique use of technology and social media as a route into understanding what they may be struggling with internally, and have made several presentations on this topic in recent years at professional conferences. I have a personal interest in the links between mental health and spirituality, and I present a weekly podcast on this topic.

I also work with parents to support them in thinking about their children's difficulties.

I am happy to be contacted, to think together about what might be helpful for your family.
