Let’s be honest: searching for a therapist can sometimes feel like a bad game of musical chairs. You’re scrolling through endless lists of names, half the people don’t get back to you, and the other half don't quite "click" with what you’re looking for. It’s a bit like trying to find the perfect pair of jeans: everything looks great on the rack, but you really need to find the one that actually fits you.
At Mill Hill Therapy Hub, we think the "finding" part shouldn’t be the hardest part of your journey. We’ve poured our hearts into building a community that isn’t just a directory of names, but a warm, inclusive space where the logistics are seamless and the support is unwavering.
Whether you’re looking for someone to help navigate anxiety, work through trauma, or support your child with ADHD, we’ve designed our system to do the heavy lifting for you. Here is how you can find your perfect therapeutic match without the headache.
We’ve Already Done the Homework (The Vetting Bit)
One of the biggest hurdles in starting therapy is the "is this person actually legit?" worry. We get it. Your mental health is precious, and you shouldn’t have to play detective.
Every single practitioner you find at the Hub is vetted. This means they are fully qualified, accredited by their professional bodies, and fully insured. We take care of the background checks and the boring (but vital) paperwork so you can focus on the actual talking part. When you look at our practitioners page, you’re looking at a hand-picked team of experts who are as passionate about what they do as we are about providing the space for them to do it.

The Filter Game: Your Personal Therapist Matchmaker
We don’t want you scrolling through fifty profiles if only five of them actually meet your needs. That’s why we’ve built a streamlined filter system on our website that acts like a personal matchmaker. You can narrow down your search based on exactly what matters to you:
- Location: Are you looking for someone in Mill Hill, Hendon, or Kingston? Or perhaps you're open to all three?
- Specialist Areas: From Anxiety and ADHD to Trauma, Eating Disorders, and Relationship Issues, you can filter by what’s on your mind.
- Type of Therapy: If you know you want CBT, EMDR, or perhaps something more creative like Play Therapy, you can select that specifically.
- Client Age: Because finding a therapist for a six-year-old is a very different process than finding one for yourself.
- Timing: Life is busy. We’ve got therapists who work evenings, weekends, or early mornings.
- Language: Therapy is about communication. If English isn’t your first language (or you just feel more comfortable in another), you can filter for that too.
- Gender: Sometimes you just feel more comfortable speaking with a specific gender, and that is totally okay.
The Budget and Insurance Question
Let’s talk about the elephant in the room: the cost. We believe therapy should be as inclusive as possible. Our filters allow you to search specifically for practitioners who offer low-cost options or those who are registered with specific health insurers (like AXA, Bupa, or Aviva).
Finding a therapist who works with your budget shouldn’t feel like a secret mission. We’re all about transparency here.

In-Person vs. Online: The Great Toggle
One of our favourite features is the In-Person vs. Online toggle.
If you love the idea of sitting in one of our six beautiful therapy rooms: maybe one of the bright, welcoming spaces you’ll spot across our website, from a light-filled room with colourful seating to a more modern, pared-back setting or a cosy room that feels calm the moment you walk in: you can filter for that. There is something deeply grounding about physically leaving your house and stepping into a dedicated "healing" space. Our four sites across Mill Hill, Hendon, and Kingston are designed to feel like a home, not a clinic.
However, if you’re tight on time or find it easier to open up from the comfort of your own sofa, you can toggle to find our therapists who offer online sessions. It’s all about what makes you feel the most safe and at ease.
A Peek Inside Our Incredible Services
We aren't just a website; we are a physical community. Currently, we have 4 sites across North and South West London, featuring 6 gorgeous therapy rooms. These aren't your typical beige, sterile offices. On our website, you’ll see the actual rooms our practitioners work from: bright spaces, modern therapy settings, and cosy rooms that help in-person sessions feel welcoming from the start.

Behind the scenes, we also run a community membership for the therapists themselves. Why does that matter to you? Because a supported, happy therapist is a better therapist. By fostering a collaborative environment where our practitioners can connect (and occasionally have a social event beneath a colourful chandelier), we ensure the energy in our rooms remains relentlessly positive.
Meet the Team (A Few Hub Favourites)
Our directory is full of diverse, brilliant minds. For example, if you’re looking for someone with a deep understanding of psychology and coaching, you might look at Gabriella Miller. If you need someone specializing in psychiatry or complex mental health, Dr Gail Sinitsky or Brian Rock might be your go-to.
For those seeking help with children or family dynamics, we have practitioners like Romany Jager and Paula Khan who are experts in their fields. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg: we have everyone from Lisa Spitz and Joyeeta Majumdar to specialists like Aron Lazarus and Niki Morgan.
Each therapist has their own unique personality and "vibe." Some are direct and challenging; others are soft and nurturing. Our directory lets you read their stories and find someone whose "voice" resonates with you.

Still Feeling Overwhelmed? Use Our Referral System
We get it: sometimes even with filters, making a choice feels like a lot. If you’re staring at the screen and just aren’t sure where to start, our referral system is our secret weapon.
You can reach out to us directly, and we will help do the heavy lifting. We know our practitioners well: we know who has a penchant for creative arts, who is a whiz with teenage anxiety, and who has the most soothing presence for trauma work. We take pride in being facilitators and connectors, making sure that you don’t just find a therapist, but the therapist.
A Note from Penny (And the Hub Team)
At the end of the day, we’re just a group of people who care about other people. Whether we’re filling our little libraries with new books or keeping an eye on the room calendars (between checking the Arsenal score, obviously), our goal is to make your path to therapy as warm and simple as possible.
We know that taking the first step is the hardest part. But once you’ve clicked those filters and found a face that feels "right," you’ve already done the most important work.
So, head over to our practitioners page, play around with the filters, and see who jumps out at you. Your "perfect match" is probably already waiting for you in one of our green velvet armchairs (or on a Zoom screen!).
We can’t wait to welcome you to the Hub.
