I’m Lynda Henley, a counsellor and psychotherapist based in Finchley, and I understand that reaching out for support can feel like a big step. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or simply not quite yourself, and you don’t have to make sense of it all alone. I offer a calm, compassionate and confidential space where you can talk openly and be truly heard, without judgement or pressure. We will work together at a pace that feels right for you.
With almost 10 years’ experience in private practice, I support adults with a wide range of issues including anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, stress, bereavement and Autism and ADHD-related concerns. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each individual, helping you gain clarity, develop self-understanding and find ways forward that feel manageable and meaningful.
My work is rooted in building a trusting and respectful therapeutic relationship. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, adapting each session to your needs and what you bring, whether that involves focusing on present-day challenges or gently exploring past experiences that may still be having an impact. My aim is to help you feel supported, understood and empowered to make change.
I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in line with its ethical framework. My practice is based in Finchley, with face-to-face and online sessions available, and I offer an initial conversation to help you decide if counselling with me feels like the right fit.
