Hello and welcome to June! Can you believe we’re already halfway through the year? At the Mill Hill Therapy Hub, things have been feeling particularly vibrant lately. The sun is out, the gardens at our Sunbury Avenue and Hale Drive sites are looking lush, and our community of practitioners is growing faster than the herbs in our little window boxes.
We’ve always said that the Mill Hill Therapy Hub is more than just a place to find therapy room rental in London. It’s a home for your practice. Whether you’re here for a few hours a week or you’ve settled into a regular block booking, we want you to feel supported, connected, and inspired.
June is shaping up to be a big month for us, with a focus on learning from one another and deepening our expertise. Here’s a little look at what’s been happening and what’s just around the corner.
Reflecting on our Child Therapist Supervision
We kicked off the month with a wonderful group supervision session specifically for our child and adolescent therapists. It was such a warm, grounding morning. Working with young people is incredibly rewarding, but as many of you know, it can also be uniquely demanding.

Having that dedicated space to share clinical insights, offload some of the “heavy” stuff, and simply realize you aren’t alone in your challenges is so vital. We’re really proud to offer these group supervision sessions completely free for our members. It’s part of our unwavering commitment to making sure our therapists feel as looked after as their clients are.
If you missed this one, don’t worry! We have regular meet-ups planned. If you aren’t a member yet but want to join our community and access these free sessions, feel free to reach out. We’d love to have you.
CPD Spotlight: Esther Ebbing on ‘Children and Cancer’
We are absolutely thrilled to host a very special CPD workshop this month led by one of our own talented practitioners, Esther Ebbing.
The workshop is titled “Working with children where there’s cancer in the family.”
This is such a sensitive and profoundly important topic. When a parent or sibling is diagnosed with cancer, a child’s world can feel like it’s shifting beneath their feet. As therapists, knowing how to hold that space, use age-appropriate language, and support the family system is a specialized skill.
Esther brings a wealth of experience and a relentlessly positive, compassionate approach to this work. This workshop isn’t just about theory; it’s about practical tools and emotional resilience for the practitioner.
Launching: Our New Adult Peer Supervision Group
One of the things we love most about the Mill Hill Therapy Hub is watching practitioners connect in the hallways or while making a cup of tea between sessions. Those “micro-connections” often lead to the best ideas.
Based on your feedback, we are officially launching our Adult Peer Supervision Group this June!
While many of us have our own formal supervision, there is something incredibly special about a peer group. It’s a horizontal space: an inclusive, non-hierarchical circle where we can share the realities of private practice. Whether you’re navigating a tricky ethical dilemma or just want to discuss the latest research in your field, this group is for you.
We want to make the administrative side of your practice as seamless as possible so you can focus on these moments of growth. That’s why Marc keeps a close eye on every room calendar: apart from when he’s watching Arsenal, of course! We try to keep the logistics streamlined so you can spend your energy on what matters: your clients and your professional community.
Why Choose the Mill Hill Therapy Hub?
If you’re a practitioner looking for therapy rooms to rent or a therapy room hire that offers more than just four walls and a chair, we’d love to meet you.
Our spaces are designed to feel like a home away from home. We have four sites across London now, with six distinct rooms.
- Creative Spaces: Our Sunbury Avenue art and play room is a haven for creative work, filled with clay, slime-making kits, and sand trays.
- Professional Comfort: Our adult rooms feature soft lighting, comfortable armchairs, and a “family-run” feel that puts clients at ease immediately.
- Seamless Logistics: With smart locks and a simple booking system, you never have to worry about keys or complicated check-ins.

We know that building a private practice can sometimes feel a bit lonely. That’s why we’ve built the Mill Hill Therapy Hub to be a bridge. By joining us, you aren’t just renting a room; you’re joining a network of professionals who genuinely care about each other’s success.
