Bio:

Elizabeth is a psychotherapist specialising in eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, depression, and perinatal mental health. She works with women at all stages of life, providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy in a warm, collaborative, and non-judgemental environment.

As a therapist with a deep understanding of Orthodox Jewish life, Elizabeth offers culturally sensitive care that recognises the unique emotional, familial, and religious experiences that can shape a woman's relationship with food, her body, and herself. She welcomes women from all backgrounds while bringing particular insight into the challenges that may arise within the Jewish community.

Elizabeth draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches, tailoring treatment to each person's individual needs, values, and goals.

Alongside individual therapy, Elizabeth offers parent consultations to help families support a child or teenager recovering from an eating disorder, as well as guidance on creating a healthier relationship with food and body image within the home.

She also has a special interest in supporting engaged and newly married women navigating body image concerns, disordered eating, anxiety, and the transition into marriage. Whether these challenges arise during dating, engagement, around the mikvah, intimacy, or adjusting to married life, Elizabeth provides a supportive space to explore them with sensitivity and care.

Elizabeth holds graduate degrees in Counselling from Columbia University and currently works with eating disorder and anxiety patients at London's Nightingale Hospital, alongside her private practice in North West London and online.

Elizabeth believes that healing is about far more than changing behaviours. It is about developing a kinder relationship with yourself, feeling more present in your life, and building the confidence to live in line with your values. She would be honoured to support you on that journey.
