What’s on at the Mill Hill Therapy Hub: October and November 2026

by | Sep 29, 2026

A new academic year is underway, and we’re delighted to have so much coming up for our practitioner community 🍂

One of the best parts of being a member of the Mill Hill Therapy Hub is learning alongside other practitioners. All the workshops and talks below are included for members at no additional cost, exactly as the flyer says, free for Mill Hill Therapy Hub members.

What workshops are coming up?

Please save these dates 📅

  • Sunday 4 October: Beyond Talking, using creativity, movement and play in therapy, with Rotem Metfield. This is an in-person workshop.
  • Wednesday 14 October: Internal Family Systems, with Talya Ressel. This session is online.
  • Monday 23 November: Eating disorders workshop, with Elizabeth Bergman. This session is also online.

Do put these dates in your diary now, as it is much easier to make space for professional development when it is already part of your plans 😊

Could peer supervision support your practice?

We currently have four active peer supervision groups, meeting every three or four weeks.

Two groups are for practitioners working with adults and two are for those working with children and adolescents. They offer a supportive space to share thinking, reflect on cases and feel less alone in private practice.

Working independently can be rewarding, but it can also feel isolating. Our peer groups help create the kind of thoughtful, inclusive professional connection that makes a real difference.

What else are we arranging?

Following her brilliant Making Tax Digital talk, we are arranging a follow-up session with chartered accountant Claudia Sheena of CS Accountants.

This time, the focus will be allowable business expenses. The date is still being finalised, and members will hear as soon as it is confirmed.

In the meantime, you can catch up with our Making Tax Digital webinar recap.

Are you joining our Halloween social?

We’re having a family friendly Halloween social on Sunday 1 November 🎃

It will be a lovely chance for members to bring their families and spend time together outside the therapy room. Many of our socials welcome children, and we enjoy creating relaxed opportunities for our community to connect.
