Bio:

Aimee is a Child and Adolescent CBT Therapist (PgDip), working with children and young people (up to age 25) experiencing anxiety and mood-related difficulties. Aimee has particular speciality in using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to treat OCD in young people.

Having trained within Barnet CAMHS NHS Service, Aimee has experience working with a range of presentations, including:

· Anxiety
· Phobias
· Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
· Low Mood/Depression
· Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
· Autism Spectrum Disorder
· Panic Disorder
· Social Anxiety

Aimee has worked as part of the Emotional Health Team at Bikur Cholim D’Satmar London IAPT Service, providing therapy to young adults within the ultra-orthodox Jewish community.

Aimee believes strongly in empowering young people. She aims to give young people as much autonomy as possible within their therapeutic journey, and strives to create an atmosphere of empowerment within the therapy room, where each step towards progress is considered a victory.

Aimee understands that young people can sometimes encounter difficult emotions along their therapeutic journey, and aims to slowly encourage progress through her uniquely compassionate and child-centred approach. Aimee has experience working with clients from diverse populations, and continuously aims to promote equality, diversity and inclusion throughout her work.
