Bio:

I am a highly skilled and rigorously trained Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist working with children and young people aged 0-25. With full membership of the Association of Child Psychotherapy (ACP), I work as a core multidisciplinary team member within a London-based NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). I also work privately from consulting rooms in North-West London.

I work with children, adolescents, young adults (0-25) and parents/carers to provide therapeutic assessment, treatment and interventions for a range of difficulties, including (but not limited to):

- Anxiety (generalised, social, school related)
- Attachment and relationship difficulties
- Behavioural struggles at home/and or school
- Social Communication Difficulties, including Autism
- Depression, Low Mood, Lack of Motivation
- Developmental Difficulties
- Emotionally based school avoidance
- Risk-taking and self-harm, suicidal thoughts
- Sleep disturbance
- Toileting issues/regression
- The lasting effects of bereavement, family breakdown, chronic illness, disability, trauma, neglect or abuse.

I have extensive experience (inpatient, outpatient and school-based) working with children, adolescents, their families and carers. If requested, I liaise with schools and educational institutions, local agencies and services to help support the needs of the child or young person.

My clinical and pre-clinical training span over a decade and includes a doctoral-level four-year clinical training with Anna Freud Centre, UCL and BPF (IPCAPA). My research areas of interest include adoption, adoption motivation, infertility and adoption outcomes. I have also written on topics including bereavement, maternal abandonment and neglect, sibling rivalry, parental illness, and early maternal relationships.

It is my pleasure to work with children and adolescents, as well as their families towards a shared goal.

My services are strictly private and confidential.
