Child, Adolescent & Family Psychotherapist
Helping Young Minds Heal, Grow & Thrive
As a registered Psychodynamic Psychotherapist with the British Psychoanalytic Council and the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists, I bring a deep understanding of child development, emotional wellbeing, and family dynamics to my work with children, adolescents, and their parents.
Before training as a psychotherapist, I spent many years as both a primary school teacher and LSA, supporting children and adolescents with emotional, social, and behavioural challenges. This foundation has shaped my ability to build strong, trusting relationships with young people—creating a safe space where they feel seen, heard, and supported.
I’ve worked with leading mental health organisations including the Brent Centre for Young People, Chai Cancer Care, and the Anna Freud Centre, helping children and families navigate complex issues such as:
ADHD & Autism Spectrum Conditions
Anxiety, Depression & Low Mood
Trauma, Bereavement & Family Illness
School-related Stress, Transitions & Peer Difficulties
I tailor therapy to each of my client’s needs, using play, art, talking therapy, CBT, and mindfulness—whatever helps them express themselves and make sense of their world. I offer both short-term and open-ended therapy, always working in partnership with parents to support lasting change.
My qualifications include:
MA in Psychological Therapies for Children, Young People & Families (Tavistock & Portman)
PGDip in the Psychodynamics of Human Development (British Psychotherapy Foundation)
PGDip in Psychology
BA (Hons) Psychology with Health
I’m also a member of the National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioural Medicine, where I continue to deepen my understanding of trauma and how best to support children affected by it.
If you're concerned about your child’s emotional wellbeing, I’d be honoured to help. Together, we can support your child’s journey toward resilience, confidence, and emotional growth.
