Bio:

Rotem Metfield is a Creative Empowerment Therapist working with children, adolescents and adults. Her approach goes beyond talking, using creativity, movement, drama, play, visual arts and storytelling to help people explore what can sometimes be difficult to put into words.

Rotem believes therapy doesn’t always need to begin with sitting down and talking about a problem. She works experientially, creating space for clients to notice patterns, explore emotions, try out new ways of responding and reconnect with parts of themselves that may have become quieter along the way.

Her work is warm, active and collaborative, adapting to the individual rather than following one fixed way of working. Sessions may involve conversation alongside movement, creative exercises, imagery, writing, role-play or storytelling, depending on what feels most useful and appropriate.

Rotem is also the creator of RAWR, a method built around four stages: Reveal, Allow, Wake and Roar. The method reflects much of her therapeutic work - helping people uncover what is happening beneath the surface, make space for what they feel, reconnect with themselves and find more freedom in how they move through their lives.

She holds a BA in Acting and Theatre, a BA in Human Behaviour, and an MA in Drama & Movement Therapy from The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama in London. She has worked with children, teenagers and adults across charities, organisations and private practice.

Rotem supports clients with a range of emotional and life challenges, including anxiety and stress, bereavement and loss, confidence and self-expression, relationships, life transitions, and difficulties within school or work.

She offers tailored online therapy for individuals and groups.
