Job title: Psychological Therapist
Pronouns: She/her
Do you feel like your experiences are all pointing to the painful conclusion that there must be something fundamentally wrong with you? If so, you’re in the right place. You might be navigating OCD, emetophobia, self-blame or anxiety. As a couple, you may be experiencing the aftershocks of pregnancy loss or depression affecting your relationship. You may be a Christian navigating emotional pain that seems to conflict with your beliefs. Though these concerns appear different, we often find the same feelings at their core: fear, shame, loss, hopelessness and powerlessness. You don't have to keep wondering if it's all your fault.
I see therapy as a space where two experts meet: You bring the wisdom of your lived experience, and I use models like CBT, Compassion Focused Therapy, and Behavioural Couple Therapy to find helpful ways to understand and respond to what is happening. Therapy with me is more than talking - it's also about working together to find your next step.
If any of this resonates with you, you don’t have to have the answers — we can start with the questions. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure, that’s okay. You don’t need to have it all figured out to reach out. Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to arrange a brief call or ask any questions about how I work.
