You can get in touch with practitioners directly or you can contact the Mill Hill Therapy Hub if you’d prefer to talk through your options. Please also see our FAQs below.

FAQs

1. I'd like some support - where should I start?

Use the tool above to filter between our practitioners based on your schedule, practitioner speciality, the current issue(s), your preferred modality and location (our practitioners work in Mill Hill, Hendon and online). If you are unsure what to do next, please contact us and we will guide you through the process.

2. How does it work once I've found a practitioner that I'd like to work with?

You contact them via their preferred method (website, email, phone number) and can arrange an initial phone call or assessment session at a mutually convenient time. You will pay your practitioner directly in line with their working practice and, in most cases, you will set up a regular weekly or fortnightly slot for 50-minute sessions at the same location (Mill Hill or Hendon) or online.

3. Are all of your practitioners listed?
Some of our practitioners are not listed on the website as a personal preference, so please get in touch with us and we can connect you if you can’t find a suitable practitioner.
4. I need low-cost therapy - what are my options?
Please use the “low-cost” filter and get in touch with an appropriate practitioner. This is subject to availability and at each practitioner’s discretion. We are also happy to guide you through this process if you prefer.
5. Do you offer ADHD or autism assessments?
We have practitioners who specialise in ADHD and autism, but we do not offer assessments ourselves.
6. Are any child therapists covered by health insurance?
Unfortunately, it’s difficult for child therapists working with children of primary school age to get covered by health insurance providers. You may need to self-fund unless you can make an arrangement with your provider.
7. How long do therapy sessions usually last?
Most therapy sessions last 50 minutes and can be arranged in a weekly or fortnightly block or in an open-ended arrangement to be discussed with your practitioner.
8. Where are the Mill Hill Therapy Hub and Hendon Therapy Hub?

The Mill Hill Therapy Hub is on Hale Drive off Hale Lane. We have a Little Library outside the property and there is free parking available right outside apart from 11-12 Monday-Friday. The Hendon Therapy Hub is off Station Road and there is free parking available right outside apart from 10-11 Monday-Friday. We always have a parking solution, so please don’t let this put you off!

9. How do I get authorisation from my health insurance provider?
You will need an authorisation code from your health insurance provider to give to the practitioner in question before you can start sessions. Please ensure that this is in place if you request an insurance-based block of sessions.
